Our Trip to Morris Farm

Spring Visit

Take a picture tour of the farm to see what we saw at Morris Farm this spring. So much has changed since the beginning of the year and since this winter!

The gardens are still covered in hay... but not for much longer!

We did an experiment to see if it was warmer above ore below the hay. The results? Below!

The hoop house is growing vegetables to make salsa!

We found some green growing under the raspberry bushes!

After checking out the apple trees we didn't see anything too different at first.

But when we looked more closely, we could see buds at the ends of the brances just waiting to come out.

The hens are back outside enjoying their snow free yard.

The sheep used to live here, but they have been moved...

...and have multiplied! There were lots of lambs that were only a week old.

This ram is in time-out. He isn't always friendly with the ewes and lambs.

All of the sheep except one have been sheered... can you figured out which one?

The greenhouse was empty the last time we saw it. But now it is full and green! It was so warm in there my camera fogged up!

They hay loft is even emptier now. Pretty soon the animals will be able to graze grass in the fields.

Last of all, the cows have moved to another farm. We won't get to see the calves after all!

We can't wait for our last visit this summer!
