Our Trip to Morris Farm

Fall Visit

We are lucky enough to get to visit the farm 4 times this year! That's once each season. Check out our fall visit below.

The barn is empty now except for milking cows, like our friend here!

The sheep are out in the field now eating grass. The dark lamb is Blueberry and her mother is Betty. The sheep on the right is Dana.

There are two calves at the farm. This is Amber and Maya in their own pen.

Here are two cows that are pregnant! They will have calves in the spring.

This part of the cow is called the udder. It gives us delicious milk!

There were turkeys in a moving pen. They are fattening up for Thanksgiving.

The hens in this pen have yellow legs. It means they are almost ready to start laying eggs!

Here is the rooster we saw! There was only one rooster for all the hens.

Pigpile!

This was a sunflower house we got to go inside of. It even had chairs in it.

We saw apple trees! Carrie gave us a few apples to bring back to taste!

We got to pick beans from a bean teepee!

There were lots of bees busy at work, helping to make honey!

We got to try some delicious cherry tomatoes!

We saw some pigs rolling in the mud to keep cool. Check out this one!

We can't wait for our next visit this winter!
