Adapted and Illustrated by:
Miss Ripstein's Kindergarten Class
For this activity, I
read the children the beginning of the story Go
Away, Big Green Monster, but did not show them
the pictures. Each page describes a different part
of the monster. The children simply created these
parts on ArtCenter in the computer lab. Then, we
read the entire story and revealed how close they
had come to the illustration done by Ed Emberly in
the book. They were amazed at how good they did!
